Recession is off and the IT and ITES sectors have started recruiting people again. Last year passed out students suffered a lot due to recession because there were no openings in any of the reputed firms. But somehow the companies have managed to recruit this year and that’s reflecting in the campus schedules in the colleges. Students have to improve their interpersonal skills because it will be very different to get in to a company once they come out of college. I am basically a production engineering student but couldn’t place myself anywhere. Finally I got in to a recruiting company and became expert in this past three years. I know the difficulties and the challenges in getting a job since I had experienced that. So friends use this opportunity and try to make the best use of it. Normally the recruitments involve test process, GD and interviews for the fresher’s. Be strong at verbal skills, analytical skills and eye for details and develop your personality and have positive attitude.
Today is a memorable day in my life. I have joined a MNC as a HR after three years of journey in the recruitment field. When I completed my graduation I didn’t expect that I will become as a HR. But my experience in the first company gave me this opportunity because it more of related to recruitments. I had joined my first company on contract due to lack of communication but I took that in a positive way and gain experience. I got my confirmation well ahead of the given timelines because of my performance. Hard work never fails and it reflecting in my career growth. My past company was the turning point in my life but I have shifted considering my career and to make it strong. Today was new to me though I have come across lot of corporate environments. I felt proud and happy to be a part of a world tier one IT company but still I miss my past life. Though it was a small company the learning and exposure was always high and I am always thankful to it. I am stepping in to this new episode of my life and I believe that I will give my best.
