The Indians have failed to capitalize on a flat track and finished with a decent score to defend and everyone felt it was a good score. But the way Lankan batsmen played was amazing and it’s obvious that Indian batsmen failed to do that. The second day started for the Indians like the previous day and they have bowled out for 426 just adding less than 50 runs to the overnight total. The visitors have started the day strongly with Dilshan scoring his tenth test century and well supported by the other batsmen. Zaheer took two wickets in quick session which gave some hopes of recovery for the team India. But the visitors ended the day on high finishing at 275 for 3 trails by just 151 runs. The classy Jayawardene and stubborn Samaraweera are at the crease and started their innings brilliantly. Let’s see how the home side execute their plans on day three and takes the lead over the visitors.
I was so much dejected and went to a church nearby to cry out. At that time a flash occurred in my mind. When we were together she would always take me to the Sunday evening prayer in the church. I still felt that she would follow this practice till today. I hunted down the RC churches in the city and went to each and every church during Sunday evenings. In the meantime all my money was gone and I was literally penniless. I was living in my aunt’s money and was quite ashamed but I did not want to give up the pursuit. One fine day a green sedan drove in. As usual I was watching each and every car playing my guitar. I always played the tune she liked. A beautiful angel stepped down in white skirt. My eyes were struck with amazement. I recognized the face. Yes it was none other than my Jane. She was accompanied with her dad. I was astounded and started running towards her. When she saw me running towards her, she identified me well. We couldn’t control our emotions and hugged each other in front of the church and broke open to tears. At last I found my Jane.
Friends I know a person by name Andrew also called as Mappo. He perfectly suits for the name because he is completely a different man when he is drunk. Unlike others he behaves as a complete different personality and he can’t even realize who he is. This person is a software engineer and we have not allowed him to drink with his colleagues at any cost unless they know him personally. The way he speaks, the way he reacts is weird and it brings lot of fun to us. He speaks a different language and the words he use cannot be find anywhere. That’s how we enjoy our weekend at times and I wish he should change and ensure that his career not spoiled.
Recession is off and the IT and ITES sectors have started recruiting people again. Last year passed out students suffered a lot due to recession because there were no openings in any of the reputed firms. But somehow the companies have managed to recruit this year and that’s reflecting in the campus schedules in the colleges. Students have to improve their interpersonal skills because it will be very different to get in to a company once they come out of college. I am basically a production engineering student but couldn’t place myself anywhere. Finally I got in to a recruiting company and became expert in this past three years. Normally the recruitments involve test process, GD and interviews for the fresher’s. Be strong at verbal skills, analytical skills and eye for details and develop your personality and have positive attitude.
